Created in collaboration with the Alliance for Camp Health and supported by the H.E. Butt Foundation, the CampWell training program aims to help all be well at camp and seeks to create consistent care across the spectrum of all summer learning spaces.
As an immersive learning program, CampWell is uniquely designed to help leaders shape programs that incorporate the tools, self-awareness, and understanding needed to enhance the experience and safety for all.

The CampWell Project Definition for Well-being at Camp
Well-being is defined as a person’s physical, social, emotional, and/or spiritual health. At camp, well-being is characterized by a campers’ and staff members’ ability to participate fully and in the ways they choose while feeling safe, supported, and engaged.
The CampWell Program's Pilot Test Sites
In March of 2023, fifteen pilot camps came together for an immersive learning experience to pilot test content onsite at the Laity Lodge in Leakey, TX. The pilot sites each have two representatives who will integrate the content, language, and tools into their own respective camp training in the summer of 2023.
